Comparison methodology
How we compare
Our comparison pages are meant to help you decide — including when a competitor is the better fit. Here's how we build and maintain them.
Public information only
Every competitor claim on these pages comes from that vendor's own public sources — their website, documentation, pricing and product pages — or from clearly-labelled reputable third parties. We link the sources on each page. We do not use private data, leaked material, or hearsay.
We attribute vendor claims — we don't assert them
Performance figures (resolution rates, CSAT, brand counts) published by any vendor are self-reported. We either omit them or attribute them ("according to X"). Superlatives like "first" or "only" are shown as the vendor's claim, not as fact.
What we compare on
Each page uses the same ten buyer criteria: operating model, voice capability & telephony architecture, e-commerce & Shopify depth, live-data actions, customer context & priority, human handoff, implementation model, ongoing optimization & accountability, security & governance, and pricing model. We describe pricing by model type (per-seat, per-resolution, usage, quote-based) rather than quoting dollar figures that change and are often third-party-reported.
On voice
- We never claim a competitor "has no voice" or "no AI" unless we've verified it on their current official source — and even then we date it "as of publication."
- We don't judge the quality of a competitor's voice product. We state when each vendor added voice as a dated fact, describe our own voice-first heritage in our own name, and leave the evaluation questions to you.
Re-verification cadence
This is a fast-moving market. We re-check every comparison at least quarterly and stamp each page with a "Last verified" date. If a page's date is stale, treat its competitor facts as provisional and check the linked sources.
Corrections
If you work at one of these companies and something is inaccurate or out of date, email support@unicall.ai and we'll review and correct it. Our goal is an honest comparison, not a takedown.
